Yarlington Barn at Lympsham is absolutely wonderful in every way. The grounds and venue speak for themselves on viewing. Mark and Kate are masters of their craft, providing the most perfect of days for you to cherish. From the first meeting you sense Mark is absolutely “on it” as your front of house host. He is primed for every eventuality, ensuring your day is perfection. He just doesn’t rest. Kate has the venue staff all in tune, effortlessly producing a wonderful afternoon celebration room that transforms magically into an evening party area. Kate’s just wonderful. Their attention to detail is spot on, and we awoke the following day both saying “That’s the best day ever, we actually wouldn’t have changed a thing.” Thanks from the bottom of our hearts, Yarlington Barn x

Our wedding at Yarlington Barn was a magical day from start to finish!

In the run-up, Mark and Kate were very responsive and proactive in getting everything arranged, with a comprehensive timeline of meetings and a payment schedule, which helped to keep us organised and on track. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Even when the rain came while we were doing our photographs around the lake, we were provided with umbrellas, which made for some lovely romantic photos! The set-up of the barn was beautiful. In the evening the fairy lights and candles enhanced the atmosphere and romantic feel of the day.

Overall, everyone had a lovely time, and we smiled throughout the whole day. Since the wedding, many of our guests have commented on the beautiful venue! We’ve even been told it was the most relaxed wedding they’ve been to, which was the exact vibe we were after.

We cannot thank Mark and Kate enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so special. The whole planning process was genuinely enjoyable – a lot of that is down to how welcoming and reassuring they were throughout.

On the day, everything came together so smoothly – there was clearly a lot going on behind the scenes, but the team pulled it off brilliantly. And the venue itself is the star attraction. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the site is. One guest told us it was the nicest wedding venue she’d ever been to. It’s a big space but somehow still feels really intimate.

We’d love to do it all again – but that would probably defeat the purpose! 10/10, no notes. We’ll be recommending Yarlington Barn to everyone.

Mark and Kate and the incredible team they have with them can’t do enough for you. From day one of being shown the venue, to the day we returned to dress it, Lee and I were made to feel like part of the family. The day was truly beyond anything we could have ever wished for it to be, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the drink offerings, catering, venue itself, and the way everything ran so smoothly. I truly would do it all again in a heartbeat. They both gave us the most magical lifetime memories.

We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect venue or better people to help make our day so special. From the moment we first visited, we completely fell in love with the venue. The beautiful rustic charm, the stunning surroundings, and the gorgeous little lake made it everything we had dreamed of. Mark and Kate were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They guided us through every step, every time we visited, making sure we always knew what to expect and answering every question we had. They handled some last-minute changes brilliantly, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.

They really know what works, so we trusted them completely, and we’re so glad we did, because everything came together perfectly. On the day itself they were so calming, reassuring and supportive, especially for me as a very nervous bride. They made everything run so smoothly and exactly how we imagined it, meaning we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. Mark and Kate are not only incredibly professional but also funny, kind and so down to earth. They genuinely care about making your day the best it can be, and it really shows. The staff on the day were equally fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about the venue and the professionalism! Mark and Kate have an amazing talent for making you feel welcome, relaxed and confident that you’re in good hands. Then they helped pull off the perfect day by reminding you to have fun and take it in! For an occasion where you don’t get second chances to make it count, you want experience around you – and we will have memories today we’ll treasure forever.

Your venue looked its best, which is so impressive, not least because of the meticulous way you look after it. The catering was exceptionally good, and the service slick, polite and professional – I could ask for no more. You should take great pride in what you do, because you set a standard unmatched in these parts.

Eternally grateful, and a day to cherish! The day was flawless. Everyone commented on how relaxed we were on such a big day, but at Yarlington all the stress is taken away and you are left to enjoy the day with your family and loved ones. From start to finish, Mark and Kate were absolutely brilliant. They made our wedding day even better than we thought it could be. They made mine and Clare’s life a lot less stressful by taking on a lot of the work and making it clear to us what we would need to do. The venue itself is gorgeous inside and outside. The food was delicious, staff were helpful and kind. I would recommend Yarlington Barn to anyone getting married, because they know what they’re doing and run the whole event superbly. And most importantly, Mark and Kate are two lovely, caring people who will do all they can to make your day as brilliant as ours. Me and Clare cannot thank you enough!
